On a sunny Sunday morning, I visited Leon & Viktoria and their six week old son Vincent in Halensee. Every time I enter a home with a newborn, there’s something very special about it. It’s calm, quiet and time is moving slower. I love these sessions, spending time with a newborn is magical: everything is new, for the baby and for the parents. And it makes me want to capture not only every move, but also the touch, the smell and sound. It also reminds me of the time when my daughter was very little, I would study her every move and look at her for hours. It’s a time of such wonder and every time I’m given the opportunity to witness and capture these precious moments, I’m humbled and grateful.
